I'm hoping to knock off half of my auto-loan this year instead of waiting for 5, cause once it's paid off I'm getting my truck. Beyond that I'm gonna try and hit up a new ballpark this year, hopefully Wrigley so I can knock Chicago out entirely.

The Cheyenne Blizzard are supposed to start playing at Pioneer park this year so I'm gonna go to as much as possible, get me some cool gear. Also gonna expand on my Trevor Story collection as the year goes on.

As far as everything else goes, don't have any plans in mind.

Oh well real life goals. I have those too. I’m trying to make over 200k this year. But that’s gonna take some work...I do that easy with dual income but I wanna do it by myself plus what the wife makes. I’m talking about the game.

I haven’t done Chicago either actually. I might have to do that myself.

There’s a few things I want to do. Besides the obvious. I’d like to take my game from World Series to one of the best players this season. I’m also hoping BR is competitive again so I can make a few runs at that. And maybe make a few qualifiers.

Build a god squad like always. Do more moments. And complete all teams which I’ve only done once and that was this year.

    What’s your goals?

im hoping to have a RS batting average of 300 and make WS

A batting average over 300 and to make world series. If I get the first part done, I'll have a shot at the second one.

The usual, top 50, World Series, couple flawless runs, be number 1 in an event again but then also this year scale back my playing.

See this as a game to enjoy, not a grind to finish. If MTO has similar DD rewards as last year, I want to do a couple of those before I start to get into the other modes. Or, if conquest has more awards than it did last year, I might do that.

I want to build a DD team and collect cards and play RS, but I don’t want it to feel like work. I have to remind myself that it’s okay to get an event reward or inning reward a day or week later and sacrifice the stubs for a decent night or 50 nights’ sleep. Or that it’s even okay to play with the “non best” cards.

I’d like to make WS again. Made it 5 times in ‘17. Haven’t made it since.

I want to finally get PlayStation Plus so I can play online for the first time since MLB The Show 16! I preordered MLB The Show 20 digital deluxe just a couple of nights ago, and I'm really hoping the packs that come with it will jump start a good Diamond Dynasty team. I want to see how well playing against the CPU on hall of fame for the past 4 months will help me transition to playing other gamers online. I've been playing the CPU on Diamond Dynasty with only one starting pitcher rated 88 or higher, and most of my position players are rated between 78 and 82. I do have Josh Bell finest and Javier Baez finest. Basically, I'm looking forward to building a Diamon Dynasty team with as many diamond cards as I can get. I played well online in 2015 and 2016, and I'm looking forward to throwing my hat in the MLB The Show online gaming community once again!

Small side question: What is the difference between a diamond choice pack and a diamond variety pack?

This year I'm actually heading in without any goals and just try to enjoy the final product that will be presented to us. I'll end up playing loads of BR like always, so I somewhat expect to be successful there.

I don't think they have said what the diamond variety pack is yet.

One of my first goals is to work the market HARD to get a nice little bank of stubs. That way I can try and complete all the collections this year early on. I regret not getting HONUS this year and being dumb with my stubs.

1.200 ops, .400 obp in ranked. Make top 50 at least once, 10 flawless runs.

Use Austin Hedges in ranked again for at least 10 games

Analog pitching. It's time to put the old pitch meter away.

My goal is to not play MLB The Show. I've put so many hours into these games since like '06. It's been a good run, but I think it's finally time to bow out.

I say this full well knowing I'll make it through about a month of real baseball and start jonesing again. The struggle is real.

My goal is to finally learn how to throw a pickoff move. Seriously have no idea and too lazy to look it up. I know L1 is step off, at least I have that going for me.
