When did they nerf pitching stamina? I just threw under ten pitches with my starter and the guy quit. Now his stamina is reduced down to 1/3 full

They did a secret update in the past few days. Now if either you or your opponent quits the starters stamina goes down by 40-50% (not sure the exact amount since they haven't officially announced this)
I guess they're trying to force people to use all 5 starters

No idea.
It could be good in theory because it really hurts anyone who brings 3 starters a game, but it's also very annoying when you get a rage quit, my first game with Seaver, he pitched 2 innings and my opponent quit, which free win nice, but I was looking forward to trying Seaver out.
But yeah, I wish they had announced it, kinda strange they did it with no notes stating they would

I am using all 5 starters and with this going on, none of my starters fully recover

I also noticed that some starters don't fully recover in tine for their next start
