Agree with you: Babe feels like 19 Babe, dead on.
19 babe was so nice. Babe was actually nice for me last year in the outfield. I just enjoyed my outfield of trout griffey mays better. But with this card having that first base option. I’m in love and won’t be taking him out.

This is one game so far so I know it’s an early review but take it for what it’s worth. Decided to finally play my first game on RS this season after grinding 50 event wins and All Timers Program. Played a fellow WS player on HOF.
Tom Seaver - CG 8 hits (four were from bunts to lofton lou and Gwynn). 2 earned ( made one mistake pitch hanging slider homer, other was a 9th inning sac fly score after back to back bunts, sb). And 10ks. Great control, speed differential.
Hornsby - I pressed with him hitting fourth, went 1-4 with a single. Had good exit velos and hit two to warning track, just missed it on pci. Defense was really well and didn’t feel like a silver out there, turned two double plays on speedster running to first.
Babe - was a little worried with his hitting stats not being what they were in years past. 3-4 and a homer. First at bat hit an inside dotted sinker lefty lefty in at the hands for a tank. Forgot how great of a swing he has. Definitely ENDGAME first baseman for me (silver fielding and 60 speed is respectable there).
I’m intrigued to see how these players play on legend once I make it to the 900s. Let me know how these three players or any other new releases have worked for you! Hopefully next game I can get gagne in.
How long did it take you to finish all the Moments?
Havent started yet and am wondering if I just want to clip these out in seperate sessions ir if I just want to 'buckle down' and set aside a block of time and play the whole way through in one sitting.

Thanks. I'm hesitant about doing these. Thats alot of 'playing the cpu' without TA progress.
I do understand they are close to the Jackie Evo set up and you couldn't get TA progress with that; but for some weird reason; if I'm going to play multiple 6 inn/9inn games vs the CPU; id like some TA progress.

I don’t really know, I finished it quickly, but I took breaks. My method was score in first and bunt out. Used glavine for every game. Only lost one game using this method.
Best bet I would do is do a division in the morning and another at night. Than maybe a 6 inning game here or there. If you did it this way maybe 5-6 days? But at least you won’t be burnt out.

Love the approach, honestly been spacing it out exactly like this, with Hersh as my SP since the delivery is straight to the point. I haven't used Seaver/Ruth yet but have used Hornsby and he is IMO going to be the best 2B until MLB 21, the offense outweighs the suspect defense for me. This has just been 25-45 at bats, first 9 probably within 4 event games, rest RS. Hard to picture there being an elite round to the beach pack that will have players with a bat much better than Rogers'. Looking forward to trying Ruth for sure. Seaver was a mixed bag for me in '19, first 80 innings he was fine, and towards the end of the game cycle, maybe the comp got better in the 900+ ranks? But he'd just get torched...so that left me sort of scarred, Lol.
-
It did take long -but you also get a ton of packs.. ducks pack.. Headliners... i think i pulled 3-4 diamonds and the rare round... so probably made around 60k in stubs? Just selling diamonds, and the ducks card..
Don't forget you get Seaver - who should def be in your rotation..Hoffman who is pretty good, and of course Babe.
My thing is with Babe at 1st, Musial goes to the bench.. which is a waste

What's your whole lineup? I have Sig Jackie at 2nd and am contemplating switching him out and buying Hornsby. But I don't know if I want to lose that speed.
Also; I think my main problem is that since im a huge Red Sox fan, I cant see replacing Ortiz with Babe. Now if the Babe card was a Red Sox version......

Bro Jackie swings a noodle compare to Hornsby. You don’t have to worry about speed when you hit dingers. And his defense isn’t as suspect as you think. Get him for 2b
If you want to win in rs, than babe is the option over Ortiz. Don’t get me wrong he’s my go to bat off the bench vs righties, but babe just has that swing and defense at first. Better speed too. But if you just play for fun, than use whatever team you like!

I don't play alot of Ranked. And when I do; I'm mainly stuck in the 500-600 range.
Also, I'm hesitant about paying 100K for him when I probably won't play any Ranked until towards the end of the year.

I’ve run him a few times in RS. If you’re playing a disciplined player, you really gotta hit your spots. Against people who sell out on a certain pitch, he makes them look like clowns. I think his fastball cutter combo should be the go-to before throwing changeups
