How big of deal would it be to play him at first without it being a secondary? I don't know how big of a penalty a player receives being completely out of position.
A couple years ago you could do this, literally could put any player at 1b and they would do fine. But they took that out. If 1b is not a secondary the player will drop every ball thrown to them

I was one of the few who actually played a 1B in MLB 17. That 99 finest Votto was amazing.

One of the pre-18 streams, they plugged in Ted Williams at 1B and ran some plays. He dropped routine throws 75% of the time.
OOP penalties are HARSH. Don't do it, kids.

Also expect Roger Hornsby to have 125 contact and 95-100ish power. His stats that season was .400 average 39 homers and 41 homers. Donaldson mvp season he only hit 41 homers. And he’s got 105 power right?

Hornsby will be the best 2B in the game. Only ones that will tell you otherwise are “Didi is free” weirdos and people who refuse to use anyone but alomar

His card was crack last year so I expect this card to be end game second baseman. Only down side is he only played second that season and only had 5 SB. So I don’t know how that will reflect with speed but should have silver fielding like last year.
