So... now I love Brandon Phillips

Yes - for me, he was challenging to get. Then, to add insult to injury, you need 8 hits. So, I put him in the leadoff spot in my Event lineup.

I'm playing someone with the team name "Need Event Wins Will Give Stats". That's always encouraging.

He starts off with a couple of bunt singles and scratches across a run. He holds me to 3 hits, no runs until the bottom of the 3rd. With 2 outs, and him still leading 1-0, up comes... BRANDON. I thought, "maybe I should pinch hit". But... this guy is dominating me, and I might as well shoot for a hit.

Kluber grooves a slider down the middle. Perfect/Perfect... Home run. And... he quits. Win/Win.

I take back every bad thing I've thought about Brandon. He's the greatest player in MLB the Show 2020, and will be forever. I'm not even going to try for Diamond Mike. Don't have to.

I despised those moments a b’d up a storm, card has no power total trash...... first event game, first at bat , first pitch , no doubt 440ft bomb to dead center off Kluber.
It’s actually a pretty fun card when your not “trying” to hit a home run or steal a base, super D at 2b, would be a fun double play combo w Jimmie Rollins but he will never sniff my ranked team

I hit under .200 getting his 8 hits. I started using contact swing and hit a lot better, it was down to .071 at one point.

I did hit a contact swing no doubt HR, but got dashboarded
