You need to at the very least have 3 of these 5 of the free cards-gold prospects, FOTF, Future stars, cover athlete cards, or prestige. It’s not possible to do without 3 of those 5

Anyone worked out what he would cost from scratch? 2 million?
I don’t have many of the free players card and don’t have the patience to grind out 20 free cards. any necessary cards I should be working on? Think the 16 rookies and the Blake snell, the prestige are required but I’m not sure what else.

That was what it cost me for Mantle lol. I'm not sure about Trout
I wouldn't for a significantly worse non switch hitting card, just get springer, then Mays and Griffey when they drop and save that 1.3 mill for better cards
I'm saving stubs for Sale RN. Trout doesn't seem worth it
Sale will be 140k or so at the end of the month after a market correction, 200k at worst...then u still have 2 mill for the billy Wagner, 99 kershaw, frank Thomas, Mays and alomars of the world
I hope one of them you just mentioned drops in the next program

You'd have to think frank needs to come soon since there's still pujols Gehrig etc that are better...catcher has been a little light without Piazza and pudge
Best bet for pitchers is a geezer (playoff whitey, cy, etc) bc we haven't had one in a while..either that or lee smith/Sutter type

Posey has been a beast so I don't see myself replacing him. I do need a 1st baseman. Gehrig was amazing last year and same with Frank
