Is it just me or is this second part of the event not as fun as the first part of the event. The players that I am using just any fun to use.
-
It’s not nearly as fun, but it’s the only place I have any chance of prestiging Hanley and Helton. Not that I’ll use them afterwards anyway, but this is the best event for it
-
Definitely not as fun but still fun. I'm working on prestiging Felix Hernandez during this event.
-
I haven't played any new event games yet, but I pieced together a team of what prestigeable cards were available to be played. Looks like an... interesting team...
-
To me it seems harder for some reason I can't put my finger on it
-
It does feel different for sure, some of these guys I haven't used much before and probably won't use again after this event
-
Well one you get to see kluber 75 percent of the time, 2 you can prestige 99 trout and play with cards you won’t use outside of br
-
Yeah, i dont like these players as much. Went ahead and got Trout ahead of schedule just to have someone to use
-
Yeah it's pretty meh, I honestly really enjoy events where you can use anybody, put restrictions on team overall so it's not exact carbon copies of ranked, but don't restrict the cards
-
What is the big deal about prestiging cards that you won't use down the road? It's not like you get tons of XP or stubs for doing it. not to mention, you have to lock in a player just to do it. Why not sell your card that you are trying to prestige instead of locking in that card and never using it once he is prestiged? I guess I don't think the plus 3 in every category is worth it unless it's just something that keeps you busy. It seems more like a task to me than fun.

I've prestiged 31 cards and literally have a whole team of unused red diamonds. I started out only prestiging cards I was going to use but after finishing Mantle, Chipper, Ellsbury, ect new cards get released. Them making Fotf t3 prestigeable is nice because it adds extra rewards while event grinding. I have all 30 teams to 100% and I figure there will be an eventual reward for collecting all the TA stuff so its just added rewards.
Ive missed out on the cost of the card but I'm already sitting on more than I can spend with every major card basically so why not unlock more stuff?
I gain literally nothing by playing round 2 of the event except the event rewards and I really dont want to grind another 50 wins for a base round dotp
-
Yeah I just prestiged Felix last night, I think I'm going to go back to RS now. The team I can assemble under these restrictions isn't fun to use, and I've got loads of guys I need to prestige.
-
Fun because I get to face Felix every game who is BP. What isn’t fun is perfect perfect fly outs at Shippet with all star Tony Gwynn
-
I got to discover that I really like the McCutchen card and still get to prestige collections Trout and Fliex ( Done) but other than that it's just another event grind.
-
I'm liking this event a little more than part 1 tbh. So far a majority of my opponents don't have near as stacked teams as the previous event.

I haven't used that Gwynn much but I bet it's better to intentionally put bad swings with him. Cuz yeah that's all I did was hit 75 mph lineouts to CF.
