How stupid is this

Was trying to field a routine grounder with Jackie Robinson and what happens? He uses his bare hands to attempt to field the grounder. Of course he whiffed on the grounder in grand fashion and ends up in right field. To make matters worse it was Buster Posey running to first. What is going on with these plays where the fielders are trying to field grounders on routine plays with their bare hands when the fielder has plenty of time to field the ball correctly And make an accurate throw. I just laughed when it happened because I was up like 10-4 at the time but if it had cost me the game I would’ve probably lost it. Is anybody else experiencing this bs.

Yeah, fielding is still really bad. Way too often, fielders are automatically doing things that don't even make sense on a little league field.

I have had the opposite problem where I’m trying to get my defender to attack the ball and hurry but my guys seem to always have a nonchalant approach and many times guys have beat out routine plays because of it.
