I bought Mazeroski and Folke for 5K and change and sold them both for 45k and 30k.
It put me further away from Trout, but we all know the packs and new cards are coming.
This is why I cannot see myself wasting all the money it would take for me to get Trout when I just locked in cards that were no sell anyway and got 8 vouchers. Not sure I will get any higher. Rather spend it on new players who get dropped in the next 5 months.

There will be more cards we all know that. Topps Now seems like an easy voucher to earn.
I have all 4 of the cards that were released already.One last thing...Flash sales for everything but live series cards are worth it. You might have to sit on a card for a bit, but spending 15k to earn back 40k+ is worth sitting on a card for a month or so.

I agree, it is a great way to make stubs or at worst recover some of the cards you might have sold off due to the astronomical prices.

I admit, I’m surprised at the level to which many of these cards rose. I knew they’d go up, of course. But cards that were in the 5-6k range a week ago hitting at 40k-plus now is ridiculous. Cards that were 10k or so have almost as much inflation. I knew prices would go up, but it’s been much higher than I imagined.

Really new to DD this year playing as much as I do... I bought Robinson for 11K the guy is 102K now WOW

I bought one for that early on, but I swear that both Robinson and Foulke were down around 5k at one point. I bought a ton and just exchanged them because it was easier than buying a bunch of cards. I wish they were still in my binder for sure now.

Yeah, as much as I want Trout - I'm not spending that on those cards.

Me too, it didnt occur to me to buy multiples of anything; my first year on MLB!

SDS has really gave us a bonus with their model this year if you collected cards , hung on to them, and didnt lock them in. Interesting how they play with our minds tweaking Supply and Demand.

Yep, tried to sell him after the Trout Collection, but forgot that he got locked in. Same with Maz

Maz has dropped to about 20k ... still too much for me but Brooks is a cult hero lol

I spent a fortune on rubbish cards to get Trout, but I'd rather have Trout than stubs.
