Question about the Trout activity

Are these posts about Trout all for real? Or just to create excitement on the forums? I just haven't experienced that much difference between any players. Not just diamond-to-diamond..I've found a lot of pitchers hit better than high diamonds. Posey comes to mind.

So, if it's only to create the illusion I'll not waste a lot of time jumping through the hoops.

99 mvp Trout is the giant collection reward that dropped today

The giant collection reward? Something tells me this could be a lot of work. I got a very late start in this season. Don't see myself chasing it. Good luck to the rest of you though. Hope Trout makes a difference that's worth the challenge.
