Reggie stocker. Book it!
That will be worth it! I don’t care what I have to collect as long as it’s only 1-1.5 million stubs!
I've been saying the home run chase with Sosa, McGwire and bonds / stocker for 2 weeks. I don't know if you watch YouTube but go to gomesdalegend and he has some great reasons on why he thinks it is stocker. It all makes sense and I'm even more confident now.
Gomes is my go to Youtuber! He does have great reasons and makes me think there is a 50% chance. If it is Stocker with juiced stats then maybe I’ll do it
I really hope it is Reggie. I also hope it's someone that I'm not interested in so I could sell all these cards and have a whole bunch of stubs. I really don't see me lacking in all them stubs for babe Ruth unless they give him Diamond Fielding or something outrageous which wouldn't even be realistic. Or unless it's a handful of cards like babe Ruth and Ted Williams and stuff like that
Reggie would make me do it if he has diamond fielding. That would also make the market inflate...I dot punt know if that is good or bad lol

Well, sds does seem to like putting out fake cards this year.

the thing about stocker is it is a real card just with a fake name. It looks like bonds and has all his stats so I can deal with that over a Pepe alazar or these future stars 99
-
I know what it is, its still a fake card. No different than someone making a CAP.

Well, that settles it. If Gomes is saying it's Stocker, then it's a 100% guarantee that it's not. I've never seen a video from him that's accurately titled.
"Everything we Know about XXX" ALWAYS devolves into a speculation video with no actual confirmations.
-
I think it's Jeter too. He's probably lost so much money with the Marlins he'll take any licensing money he can get.
-
99 Signature Ed Orgeron.
Every time he comes to bat, you'll hear "Geaux Tigers!" growled through the speakers.
-
Let's go with a Gooden/Strawberry combo for the hell of it.

Would he be able to throw out runners at the plate from LF? I guess since Sid Bream isnt in the game, hes got a chance.

Here's one that no one seems to be thinking of, what about the "chase" for the most hits in a season record. What if they got Ichiro on board already even though he just retired? I think anyone would go after Ichiro for his swing alone.

No way he's worth all those stubs unless there are multiple rewards

Haha fair enough. i just really want a Ichiro card again.

That would make one heck of an Inning one year:
Bosses:
99 Award Gooden
99 Signature Strawberry
99 Prime Gary CarterHenchmen
92 Award Keith Hernandez
89 Breakout Lenny Dykstra
91 Prime Roger McDowell -
Chase Utley.
-
I can see 3 rewards kinda like live series. One for flashbacks, one for legends, and one for both. If I had to guess I’d say A DC Bryce MVP, and a Gehrig Sig, but it’s all a guess.

Lots of Coke shared between those two
Coca-Colas I mean... Get your heads out of the gutter!

Big Mac or Barry Bonds.
Or Mark Bellhorn, the Chase for the Mendoza line.
Better yet, Mario Mendoza. Lol
-
I wouldn't mind a 2005 Clemens card...

It’s gonna be Ruth and I’m going to be pretty disappointed. Really wish they’d step up and bring in a new legend for the main reward.
I do too, but Bonds, Arod, and Aaron/Clemente are the only players that remotely compare to Honus last year, in the game or new legends. None of thise seem like midseason drops to me. No matter who it is, it will be disappointing to someone because no one compares to a 5 tool shortstop with that positional flexibility. Babe, Ted, Sosa, Mcgwire, and Frank are bad defensively/slow/can be easily replaced. Mays would be worth it but there is 0 chance they make him a collection reward 2 years in a row. Only current legend in the game remotely worth it besides Mays is Foxx with a C secondary IMO. I will do the collection regardless
If they’re following the Wagner model of last year which is dropping an all around card those 3 you outlined (Aaron/Arod/Bonds) would be ideal as they all where 5 tool superstars and you can justify giving them 90+ on everything. I just don’t want to be stuck with a Babe Ruth that can mash but can’t play a single position adequately. I think they did a good job with Honus last year but this year if it’s not a new legend it’s probably going to be disappointing.
I wouldn't say Aaron was a 4 tool player as he didn't really run that much in his 23 year career there is only 9 seasons where he had 15+ SB the rest where below 10. Same can be said of Arod as he has a career .250 average.
What the hell? Arod is a 5 tool player if there ever was one. Also his career batting average is .295.
