Is Betts coming?

On the 5th, the forever event begins and the “final signature series player reward arrives!” My guess (hope) is that it is Mookie Betts. He is one of the few elite players in today’s game that doesn’t have a usable DD card (other than like Judge off the top of my head.) Any other players still missing SS cards like Joe Carter would be rather underwhelming at this point in the year. Betts is my guess. Who do you guys think the final SS player will be?

I think its either Orel or Betts. I am actually leaning more towards Betts since they showed that in a post.

I know it says the last Signature Series card is coming with the next event, but I’m hoping that doesn’t mean we’re only getting one new player reward.

There's a lot of SS cards I still want, I'm hoping we get a 3-4 card event where we get a few really good players, they can give is a Zobrist, Orel, Giambi, Mookie, Machado, or even Mattingly

He’d be a 95 at the most, and that’s only because of how late in the game we are lmao.

That's true. Or Kiner. My hope is it's Betts or Orel or someone usable, but you're guess is as good as mine.

Even if he doesn't, nbd. He'd still be fun to use and a semi-endgame outfielder. Just can't think of too many other players in need of a SS card that would be any good nowadays.

This latest Event has been good for the people who grinded for Konerko. I have him in my lineup and have seen him used quite a bit. Other than that he will not be used in RS by anyone other than CWS fanatics.

Orel could easily get one. Betts would be cool but kinda useless right now in the game. If Orel was the choice, you would see a lot of individuals grind for him as a ton of players, especially top guys want this card.
Mays, Griffey, Trout, Acuna, Guerrero, Yelich, Bellinger, and possibly Ichiro, Gwynn, Cobb would all be better cards.

Orel could easily get one. Betts would be cool but kinda useless right now in the game. If Orel was the choice, you would see a lot of individuals grind for him as a ton of players, especially top guys want this card.

Maybe those guys would be better, but theres no shortage of Redsox fans in the MLB community. Plus, we're getting to the point of the year where players aren't concerned with fielding the best possible team and are experimenting with lineup configuration. Also, Mookie is one of the best players in the entire MLB and it would be a shame for his highest card to be a 91 OVR. Orel would be a great add for competitive players, but Mookie would more likely capture the interest of the casual player and has better potential to bring back players for the final month of this year's game cycle.
