Why does Ohtani only have 66 speed?

Watching the Angels game and the Dude just hit a ground ball to the SS and they threw to second to get the out there and by the time they threw to first, Ohtani was already past the bag by two feet. @Victor_SDS @Collin_SDS
Also this: Ohtani's average sprint speed, according to Statcast, is 28.2 feet per second, which ranks within the top 25 percent in the majors and isn't too far behind Trout (29.2 feet per second)

Even his 88 Diamond card has a 66 speed. What gives?

He is as fast as Trout! He is very underrated running wise probably because he can do so much they can’t keep up with him! Also Lindor needs 70 speed not 56

Lindor is not slow but he’s not fast either, don’t let the steaks deceive you his sprint speed shows that his speed rating is correct
