So this is my first year going hard into diamond dynasty. I'm sherzer, degrome, Harper, kershaw(higher cards) away from getting mantle. Is there no hope for me now with this stub sale and honus collection(not exactly too sure what that is yet) coming out? Or will prices go down again? Haven't collected bellinger, Yates, and hader yet and wondering if I even should. Thanks for any advice.

Prices will come down, probably not to the levels it was at 50% off packs (unless they do that again, in which case it will drop further probably)

Awesome. Thanks for the response. I guess I'll buy some stubs on sale then.

The hard ones will be Scherzer, DeGrom, and Bellinger as those will stay over 100k for awhile. Yates/Kershaw/Harper you should be able to get for about 10/15k each. There is always hope, just keep grinding away and flipping cards if you can. You will get there.

I need DeGrom and Scherzer and then I'm done with the LS collection.

I finished my Mantle chase 2 days ago. Got some pack luck along the way, but it was doable. Wait a few weeks for the market to stabilize. You can do this. Work the market and just play and have fun to get stubs and packs. I was no money spent until treating myself to a stub sale pack. With the pandemic ongoing, all it takes is time and a lot of us have a lot of that. Good luck, buddy.

Yeah I've personally really enjoyed the grind. Not gonna lie, I've spent a little on sales aswell. But I've been working steady construction through the pandemic so I felt I needed to. Haven't really gotten the flipping cards thing down though. Seems a little too tedious if you ask me. When I'm on my playstation I usually want to spend that time playing. And usually offline play aswell.

Lower rated diamonds may be cheaper with the free 85-89.

You could always get on YouTube and look at different ways to invest in flash sales/stub sales.

I was able to make 90k just by selling off most of my duplicates. I wish I could have gotten a higher tier card from the ducks on the pond elite pack from doing the POTM collections.
If I bought stubs, I wouldn’t turn around and just buy cards with it. I would learn how to work the market and turn those stubs into more stubs first. Maybe if it were 2 or 3 weeks ago when trout was around 180k and below, I would recommend that (“that” as in just buying what you need). But there’s so much potential now to make stubs with the season beginning.

As far as predictions and stub making/investment vids...
    -Ance Larmstrong
-Gomes da legend (throws choice words at times, and because of that I’ll avoid him most of the time).
    -College lefty

There’s apparently some cat on here posting daily blogs or podcasts about that very thing, but I haven’t had a chance to check him out yet.
