Yeah I think I might go Maddux just because I’m fairly happy with my CAP at SS but both of those cards should be juiced

Awards Musial would be for 1948 MVP I'm guessing.

.376 ave with a slugging % of .702 should be a very good offensive card.

I am leaning towards Maddux right now, but I might have to make a calculated choice of Musial.
I am not too excited about these cards, my choice might be dictated on the "Honus" collection requirements.
If I need a lot more SS cards the choice is Maddux, but if I need award winners, the choice would be Stan the Man.Don't kill me for not being too excited about these cards, I am just a bigger fan of other players.
As far as Maddux is concerned, the SS Mariano card taught me a lesson. If I was a bleep show with preorder card (Maddux had an 88 OVR) what makes me think I will do better with better version of that same player?Mariano was so bad, that after grinding out his prestige stats on HOF, meaning it was not a small sample size and I used him a lot before selling him. I sold him rather than picking up his blood diamond card. I bought Walker with the proceeds and I am happy with the choice.

I'd say I'd go for Maddux. However, I'm not crazy about his All-Star card repertoire. Too soft of a thrower for my liking.

Don’t count out the possibility that SDS gives him a 93-95 mph sinker because apparently every pitcher that ever stepped on a mound has that pitch

I could've sworn Maddux used to have a NASTY 2-Seamer. Like to see that with max movement.

Oh yes he did. Thing moved like a lefty slider. He should have max break on just about every pitch. I wonder if they’ll give him a velo boost tho

Oh yeah I don’t blame you. The 5th inning program might be the best we’ve ever seen so this is definitely a bit of a come down. Personally I’ve been pretty good with both Walker and Rivera. I think the Maddux card depends on what velocity they give him. If he’s throwing 95+ along with the repertoire of pitches he currently has he could easily be a top 3 pitcher in the game.

If Rollins is like he was in 17 I have myself an endgame shortstop folks

Maddux doesn't need that much velocity to work, look at FOTF Hershisher. He is very effective without a traditional fastball.

His 2 seamer had incredibly nasty down-and-away movement to lefties. It's possible they give him a sinker due to that.

It's no #GriffeyWeek, that's for d**n sure.

I’ll get 2 of 3, Musial has plenty of corner outfield competition.

Sinker does reach 95 though so I think that definitely has a factor in his effectiveness. At least I think this would separate Maddux from his other card (aside from per 9s)

But the Sinker was Maddox’s best pitch! Besides Rivera, who are all the pitchers with made up sinkers?
