What’s the likelihood of the HRD cards being part of the collection for whoever it is? Did they require smaller set collections last year or was it just the big ones, like rookie, breakout, etc?

Almost doesn't matter what last time was as they can do anything. My guess is that if the collection reward for any subset is a player (HRD, Prospects) they will be out of the bigger collection.

With that said they have limited DOTP, prospects, and HRD packs thus far. I think now through Friday will give us clues as far as how SDS is going to play this. If they make those special packs available this week then they will be part of the set IMO.
