Hey all wanted to get everyone thoughts on these ideas when it comes to VS CPU games

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but I think it's important aspect of the game.

    1. For the inning programs add 3 mission to the program that require you to beat the Boss cards team on All Star so for this current program you would have to beat Boston, Yankess, and Rockies all on all star with each game being worth 8 stars each

    2. Add 2 VS CPU to TA for 8 points each so for example Yankess would have 1 game VS Boston and 1 VS The Mets

    3. VS CPU program like the one found in MLB 17 where you had to beat teams multiple times on differnt difficulty levels for player rewards but wherent top end rewards more for collection purposes.

You already get program stars by just playing the game, even when you have limited time you can still reach 300 stars easily to pick your boss.

Showdowns are toned down tremendously to make accumulating TA points way easier and faster, and they also included extra moments already to help you accumulate some extra.

I would like your third idea, but the cards in a program like that would be kind of underwhelming because they can't justify making those cards better than let's say the TA guys, who in their own way are kind of underwhelming already. Not all, but most of them.

They need to add an offline version of Ranked Seasons. Rosters would be based on the best players available from DD per team. Set the difficulty, hit 900 and start back over at 0. Rewards change based on difficulty.

I dont disagree with any of your points what I am looking at is expanding what already exist in other programs and add to ones we already have.

Also I love showdown and my winning percentage is likely some where in the 80% range but I also like to just chill out and play some 9 inning game via team build so adding in a large number of VS CPU games that would be great plus add in that you would also collect TA innings would just add another small path to process the TA programs

Maybe they'll add a mode similar to SS teams last year, where Vlad Sr. was the final reward. I would welcome that.

There was a vs CPU grind a couple years back for a 99 overall Chase Utley. I think you had to beat every team on All Star and accumulate stats with different card types along the way. I remember enjoying that.

I also like the idea for an offline RS mode. I could see Championship Series and Division Series being on legend to get to WS. The only downside would be grinding through rookie, veteran and all star games when starting over. Perhaps it could be like Conquest where you can choose a higher difficulty if you want to.

One thing is for certain, there needs to be more ways to use your DD squad offline than just Conquest maps and play vs CPU.

Absolutely agree. There needs to be an "RS" type scenario offline. Even though it's implied that offline gets as much love and is weighted as heavily in rewards as online, I don't believe that's true. Not even close.

I have a blast playing Conquest. Likely my favorite mode but, when it's over I'm back to mainly online options.

I really think they should look at what EA has done (never thought I would ever say that) with squad battles. It's a great idea for offline players. Ypu get a bunch of packs and rewards depending on how much you play it. I think that would be outstanding if we had something along those lines. That way you would always be using the players you have and have some kind of purpose

To second your idea, the should add a challenge mode for Extra Innings against other actual community teams. Rewards are based on chosen difficulty.

They could set up a weekly tournament format against selected player teams. The CPU would control a group of teams and your team would be entered into a double elimination tournament. Make the games 6-7 innings.
