Add the DH for Diamond Dynasty

The Designated Hitter is in both leagues this year and next year (so far) so why not just add it to diamond dynasty in a patch update??

They already stated that they won't do that this year because they can disrupt save & game files which would lead to more bugs in the game. You can't really fault them for not coding a feature that was in no way something anyone could've foresaw happening pre-release.

Ok sounds good I thought they were just talking about new rules that they can't put into the game modes and the DH isn't new and has been in Diamond Dynasty before but thanks for saying that anyways

I dont recall the DH ever being in DD as the reason the pitcher remains in is part of the stagey
I dont forsee the DH being added in DD but I have been wrong before

DH in DD makes your bench worthless.

It doesn’t make bench worthless. What you could do is add a DH remove a bench spot. Then you could have a speed guy on the bench and a right and a lefty for those key matchups at the end of the game. Your bench would still be needed. It would change all that much and it benefits San Diego studios because people would buy more stubs to add another hitter in the lineup.
