Do moments mess with your timing?

I have been grinding the Event the last couple of weeks.
After a long break from online play, I initially found hitting on HOF to be a daunting task.

But after taking my bumbs and learning to lay off bad pitches, I was actually hitting well.
Then I jumped into the POTM moments yesterday. I did all of the hitting moments for Schoop, Grandal and Lauriano.

When I jump back into the HOF event, my timing is all screwed up.
I am bad at hitting , but lately I have been dog [censored].
Does this happen to anyone else?

It's the difference from moving from offline to online. There is always going to be (even with the very best internet) some input lag and online lag as you're communicating to a server and back. It's frustrating but I don't know if there's anything that could change that

Not nearly as much as the Moonshot event...still recovering from that debacle.

It is really frustrating me.
I was even getting decent at hitting with Eric "Beach Ball" Davis. I call him beach ball because initially I was sooooo bad with
him it felt like I could not hit a beach ball with him. His low vision kills me as I struggle with PCI placement on HOF.
But now it's back to swinging and missing a lot lol.....No more moments for me.
