Umpire Strike Zone
-
Anyone notice that no matter what Umpire Settings are set to "Perfect, Personalized or Average" makes no difference in DD? It's very noticeable in RTTS but DD I've never gotten that 'favor call' when I could've used it in a jam. I've change the settings to all and there's no variation. Everyone else agree?

Strike zone is very frustrating. It seems pretty random even on the "Perfect" setting. Borderline calls are almost always balls. In a game where you can hit perfect-perfect home runs on a pitch a foot out of the zone, it would be nice to get those borderline strike calls that are touching the box.

Yes, that is the rule in MLB in regards to the graphical "K zone". So you would expect that when you use, "perfect" strike zone it would use that rule. But nope. It seems they use the , "if more of the ball is inside the line than outside", thing. But that isnt correct.

Maybe next year SDS will drop the “Eric Gregg strike zone” from the year the Marlins won in ‘97. Livan Hernandez was getting calls a foot outside the zone. Eric Gregg strike zone could bump an 80 overall starter to 95.
