Edwin Diaz 99

SDS

So looks like the end player for POTM is Edwin Diaz from 18. Anyone remember him, only 3 pitches and no sinker 😎, but curious to how he played in the past.

SDS

He is a 95 and not the final one lmao

SDS

This year everybody gets a sinker so he will too. They might even throw in a cutter or a slurve because why not?

SDS

Your post scared me... I really thought Diaz was the last one and was about to be super disappointed lol but he doesn’t have a sinker or a cutter so it’s a no from me

You get a Sinker, you get a Sinker, everybody gets a Sinker!

SDS

Thank goodness lmao had me scared

SDS

It has to be one of the potm so Paxton, Carpenter, Gurriel

SDS

Well since we haven't had our Cardinals pandering yet I assume its the Cardinals especially getting the same Matt Carpenter every year

SDS

I want carpenter I don’t think it’s what the majority wants though

SDS

I think it’s Paxton. We haven’t gotten a final POTM pitcher yet and we just got Bellinger last month.

SDS

Its gotta be Carpenter, they wouldn't do 2 Mariners in one month would they?

SDS

I heard the 95 was leaked is the boss leaked yet? Plus will the lighting be 99?

SDS

Eddie does throw a fastball with some movement though. That's a guaranteed sinker. Could be a sick card.

Not necessarily but not having a SP included in POTM doesn’t make sense. On top of that who cares? Even if Paxton is included the Mariners might only have 3-4 more cards released for the rest of the year (99 Griffey, 98 Edgar, a finest/TA4, and maybe bret boone if he is still in the game). The cardinals still have 6th inning musial, Pujols, Hornsby, edmonds, Gibson, a wainwright, maybe even a sig carpenter

The cardinals have a much deeper and longer history than the mariners so I don’t get why people complain that a team doesn’t get as many cards as the Yankees when they have a lot of better players who deserve cards

SDS

I am selfishly hoping for Yuli.
I like building Theme teams ala Madden and Yuli would look great on my Cuban Team when I play my PR and DR buddies.

I realize that and I don’t care how many cards a team has. I just think its weird that people would potentially be mad that a team like the Mariners, brewers, marlins, rockies etc. gets multiple cards in a content drop lol

Well after all the Marlins are the greatest franchise in MLB history.

I want Paxton obviously but would be fine with either as long as my investments sell lol

SDS

Sorry guys, my old eyes saw 99 on the little diamond in my twitter Feed. Glad he isn’t the final guy, as a 95 he won’t even make my bullpen with those 3 pitches.

He will make mine! He always has a good windup and could be like Dibble with the per/9’s. Probably not as good but close

SDS

The Mets have a guy with the same name. Couldn't be him though, because ours sucks.

SDS

I'm excited about this card too actually. A quick 4 seam and low slow outside slider have been my go-to combo this year.

SDS

Any card that’s throws fast is useful

He wouldn’t make my bullpen whether he was a 95, a 99, or a 115. Diaz is always easy to hit due to his pitch selection
