Monitor question

I just got a Dell monitor for a laptop. Is it worth it to switch my PS4 to that instead of a TV?

If you play online a lot, absolutely.

You should post some specs, just a "Dell monitor for pc" says nothing.

Depends on your monitor and depends on your TV. Most recent TV's are designed more to console gaming and in game mode will be just fine for this game. I have a newish TV and switched from my monitor to my TV last year and won 75-80% of my RS games and made WS any season I played enough to try. And i am not that great. The only time a TV will hurt you is if it is older and has horrible input lag (greater than 35ms).

@raesONE It is a Dell UltraSharp 24 Monitor. @ChuckCLC It is a Panasonic. At least 7 yrs old I would say. Maybe 6.

You can look them up by model names and see their info. That will tell you what you need to know about what works well for gaming. My guess would be the monitor for sure, but still might be worth it to look up and see.

Go to rtings.com, see if they have reviewed your screens, and type in model numbers for each and see what the input lag and response time is for each one.
