Controller question

Got a question here for those who are at the upper levels of RS.
I'm trash, I know this. On HoF, I can't hit shite even though I can pitch like a boss.
I play on a 55" TV in PC Mode so I get a fairly fast game. When I play against someone with, as D_e_m_i_s_e would say "Wal-Mart Internet", I'm unable to turn on a fastball even though I know it's coming and know where it will be. When matched with an opponent with similar ping times, I can hold my own. I have a wired connection to my PS4.
At this point, I was wondering if the PS4 controller is the last thing I need to look into. Do you guys use it connected via a wire or do you use the Bluetooth connection for the controller? Does it have any impact?
Could the combination of all those factors be the reason I am so trash? I know I follow the ball with the PCI since I see the PCI move with and towards the ball but when I look at the results, the PCI is always "off" compared to when I think it should be.
Thoughts anyone?

I still want an explanation for the drastically inconsistent differences in pitch speed one game to the next and why it wasnt like that until this year. WTF did they do differently.
I cant see a controller being a difference, i think the problems at this point are with the game. In your case maybe a monitor would change it.

I just posted about this as well. I have the feeling that people are often times playing completely different games, and it’s all because of your ping or internet connection or something along those lines.
