Man I just posted something re confidence in Showdown. Of course no one commented on it. Bottom line it's the AI cheating.

It’s one of those things that nobody really knows how it works. Naturally that could leave some room for manipulation I guess.

Relievers clearly suffer from a much larger confidence penalty than starters, especially if they get hit hard early into their appearance.

Except when it is a cpu reliever. They often seem to be able to induce a double play to escape too much damage.
