TA 1-3 Moments HELP ME
-
The Rod Carew moment and the Jimmy Rollins moment are killing me. Whats the strats? I keep getting shorted at-bats so i'll get 4 abs with carew but i get HBP. These are the only two moments i've had left out of the 90 for about 3 days. J Roll can't get anything in the gaps for XBH. Any suggestions would be appreciated

I posted about these moments several days ago but there is a cheap way to know what you’re going to get and where it will be pitched (or the intended place for the pitch). Use pitcher view while batting and about 80% of the pitchers setup where you’ll be able to tell what the pitch will be. This should help with completing the moment if you can hit basically from a third person view.

It’s kinda like showdowns - you just gotta wait for those pitches down the middle. I believe both of those are on veteran, so the meatballs will happen. There’s a tendency to want to rush through moments and just get em done - but patience is key. I feel like both guys have disappointing speed and bunting (if I recall, it’s not the signature Carew), so not sure bunt cheesing will work here...but always worth a shot in a jam.
Oddly enough I feared the Carew moment and saved it for last - got it on the first try (just slapping fastballs back up the middle). I do remember Rollins being a pain though - that card is hot garbage.

For the carew one just push bunt

Rollins, power swing.
Carew I did the first attempt, so I cant help you there. -
I got the Carew on the first try somehow. He's a base-hit machine. I can't speak for the Rollins one. But what I've noticed on many of these, you have to wait (and hope and pray) for the hanging curveball and you can't miss your one shot at it (such as the Longoria against Cole one).
