Frank Thomas was a glaring omission from HRD packs so I have to feel he is on the schedule for something very soon.
Mark Buerhle is one of the few new legends without a diamond card yet, too. Not that they’d do 2 White Sox legends in one inning, but he would be cool.
I don’t think Buehrle would be an inning boss, just because he would be the least enticing choice of all time. I liked him in real life and he was very solid but he would be atrocious in this game lol. He seems like an 8th or 9th inning player program
Sounds about right. He would have fit in well with the caliber of bosses in the 1st and 2nd innings. Maybe he’ll get a “henchman” diamond at some point?
I know I’m biased, but I think Buehrle should get at least some HoF consideration next year. I’m sure he won’t get nearly enough traction to ever get in, but he had an outstanding career — 60 WAR, 214 wins, perfect game, a no hitter, and a WS ring. Plus he was just a cool dude.

I actually do think Buehrle might get enough votes to stay on the ballot for a few years. Next years ballot doesn’t have anyone new that is going to get elected. I don’t actually think anyone gets elected at all next year because the ballot is mostly steroid guys and POS schilling. Maybe Rolen, Kent, or Wagner have a huge spike in votes but I doubt it

I think this is the best chance for POS Schilling to get in, and he does. He's that close already. I mean you can't hold a guy out because he's a moron off the field and in retirement. Schilling as a pitcher is an undeniable HOFer.
Rolen deserves to be. He's a top 10 all time 3B... 8-10 range.
Wagner is borderline.. so dominant and underrated.
That's it.

I agree, and Shilling deserves to be there, but the writers already hate the guy and is the reason he isn’t in there already. He has said even more questionable political comments about Covid and such so that doesn’t exactly help his cause. Rolen was great, but I’m just not sure if he gets in or not, maybe in his last ballot like Walker. Wagner is a puzzling one. He is better than Trevor Hoffman in almost every statistical category except for saves in 200 less IP. I don’t know why he doesn’t get the recognition

I’m thinking in some way we need to see mays soon- possibly as the big collection like honus.
Phillies fan here- Idk if they gave Jimmy Rollins just an intro card for the game, but his headliner isn’t that good so he might be due soon for an MVP card?
Pujols only has the 87 so he’s probably incoming somewhere.
Considering they gave Gwynn a card like his sig last year, got to think alomar will get a card soon, probably headliner
Someone mentioned Frank Thomas, he doesn’t have a decent card like his sig yet.
I’m sure they’ve got good stuff incoming. Personally I’d like another decent starter. There is definitely a few, but maybe one that’s v good. Bought Mike Scott, who apparently is like number 2 statistically in the game, last night, and did pretty well with him. Wouldn’t mind a cool starter

Ya I hear you about Curt. He keeps hurting his case because he can't keep his mouth shut. I despise the guy because of his opinions as most do, but I just mean, on the field, watching his whole career from his time as a Phil shutting down my Jays' powerhouse offense in '93, to dominating in Arizona, to [censored] sock in Boston, his career as a pitcher was amazing. Incredible command of his fastball and splitter. Total bulldog and legendary stamina.
The thing with Rolen is he should, judging by who got in around him. Edgar got in and barely played defense. Santo and Molitor as well got in, and have similar metrics, whether it's skewed a bit more offensively.
Rolen was probably the 3rd or 4th best defender ever at 3B (Brooks, Beltre, Schmidt the others in there) and had a great bat to go with it.And I agree with Wagner. If Hoffman gets in, Wagner should. He was every bit more dominant, just didn't collect as many saves. He may be the greatest lefty reliever ever, and deserves enshrinement

Awards MVP Harper
Sig Mays
Prime Frank ThomasIt's clear they wont be featuring players in the inning programs who where bosses last year.
I cant see a Sig Mays being a boss, let alone a 6th inning one.
Feel like he'd be the Honus Wagner from previous years where you need a bunch of Sig collections/Prime Collections, etc.

They would not make Mays a collection reward twice in a row. They never do that

Yeah I dont ever recall a player being a main collection reward 2 years in a row.

2018: Live Series Collect Reward
2019: Signature Team Collect RewardYeah but while the signature team reward was a “collection” it was more the reward for completing all the moments than anything. Either way that was the closed thing to repeating the same way of getting a card

I could see Ruth being a collection reward like Honus was last year. I dont think they would do Honus as a collection reward maybe a boss. I would like the see the showdown final change and you have to strike out the bosses.

Madden comes out soon they launched griffey the program after madden came out last year so this year maybe they go big ahead of madden... that in mind griffey just got a new card in hr derby so shifting away from him for 6th inning... maybe an all star game theme so that in mind with the new derby cards that came out 6 picks here 1st be a dream not thinking about rights owned...
- Jeter
- Pete rose (not happening so replace with
2a. 99 god Pedro Martinez - Roberto clemente
Realistic with all star game domination in mind...
- Ted Williams
- Mike trout
- Stan Musial

Johnny bench
Steve Garvey hope these 2 no

The only one that you mentioned that has a remote chance at being an inning boss is Musial. Ted, Trout, and Bench were bosses last year and I don’t think they will double up. Garvey isn’t good enough to be a boss and I’m not sure if he is in the game anymore. Pedro would be announced pre release as marketing if he was in the game. Clemente makes the most sense out of those first 3 but I see a more expensive option if/when he is added. Jeter will likely be the cover athlete when he is added

Ah yeah true true overlooked bosses last year and yeah Garvey be trash as a boss only put him in there because he destroyed the all star game on his career at 1b...
True on jeter and I agree Pedro would have been massively hyped seeing as a card for him for 99 or 2000 season would be a cheat code. Clemente would be awesome but I got back into playing video games in 18 and haven’t seen him...
Musial prob happens who do you think gets in for the 6th?
