    Good debate going regardless

Like in my case u have to factor in when I’m using Miami with my highest ranked player 82 overall against the yanks or doyers and I blow them out u have to factor that in also

Are there DD guys with teams ranked in the 70’s beating teams ranked in 90’s?

I don’t know it well enough which is why I’m asking.

The higher ranked team gives the person a better chance to win obviously then the skill gap comes into play if the person with lesser team or in my case way lesser team is good enough to win

Yes there are, as I stated twice now

Some of the top 100 have used bronze teams and still make it to WS against goon squads.

A couple years ago the #1 online rated player played like the 95th ranked DD player in online rated and got mercy ruled by the DD player.
Note: I don’t have any evidence to back up this claim but I remember hearing it on here

In DD or H2H mode? And what were the teams if was H2H?

I don’t remember what teams were used but the game was played in H2H with real teams. If you really want to test your skills jump into a legend custom league using real teams that have primarily DD players playing in the leagues. I’m sure it is out there somewhere

For instance I like watching “Yourfriendkyle” in his YouTube vids even tho I hate the fantasy and unrealistic factor of DD because I want to see how good he is

He is obviously a great hitter but so am I, and he seems to throw a lot of balls that people are too impatient to lay off when pitching. With my plate discipline I feel like I could beat him

Not to factor in each video he had “new Gold card 99 overall Jim Thome” or whoever. Each game he gets a new overall 99 player card I guess based off a fluke career year in that players career

True I’m just curious as a top player who plays with Texas and Miami online and dosent like DD bc I like playing with real rosters and teams and realistic as possible, how I would do against top DD players

I’m already facing the yanks, doyers, astros in most of my games with Texas and Miami and I’m 41-3 my last 44

You not playing on HOF or legend enough. Stop choosing any difficulty. Play on higher difficulties then I'll respect your record more.

I doubt anyone will score on me as I hit the corners Basically every pitch

Despite everything else that's been said in this thread, this just about proves that top DD players are better than top H2H players. There's about 1200 people in DD that can hit any pitch in the strike zone regardless of whether or not it's on the black.

Don’t doubt that as when I play the yanks or doyers a top player can hit any pitch for a homer. Against both teams they even hit balls out for homers.

Talking about each team YFK pulls a 99 overall. Thome should never be a 99 overall, like a 91 or so is fair for him great player but why is every player a 99 in DD in his videos?

Thome should be a 91? LOL, do you even look at stats?

    2001, Thome hit 49 home runs, hit .291 with a 1.040 OPS
    2002, Thome hit 52 Home runs, hit .304 with a 1.122 OPS
    2003, Thome hit 42 home runs, hit .266 with a .958 OPS
    2004, Thome hit 42 home runs with a .274 with a .977 OPS

I could keep going, but in his prime Thome was one of the most prolific power hitters ever.

You don’t know how hard it is to hit in DD until you’ve faced 99 Corey Kluber on legend difficulty. He puts the very best pitchers in H2H to shame, and that’s putting it lightly.

    So?
LET me state for the MILLIONTH TIME

The top players have used bronze cards and still made WS! They have faced absolute god squads that are so far above the Yankees or Dodgers in H2H, and beaten them with bronzes.

They aren't only using all the high rated cards.

I could just see a DD player absolutely raging playing with the Marlins like me and after so many perfect perfect outs because the team has literally zero pop

U have to hit a ball absolutely perfect to hit a homer with this team

When I play with 20th overall Texas hit minimum of 3 homers a game

And I choose these teams choice bc I like them and fun beating yanks and doyers with incredibly inferior talent just saying the skill gap between top H2H and DD players is closer than u think

Bronze cards.. never played DD as I like playing realistic.. what are rankings of bronze cards?

65-74 overall, and they are facing the absolute stacked pitching staffs that you keep bringing up, so they have it much harder than your Marlins do.

Online h2h is like triple a baseball and online rs dd is the major leagues. Its not that there isnt good players and good teams in triple a but the talent pool of the majors is just better and deeper across the board. More high end competitive players playing dd raises the level of competition regardless of rosters and ratings. Its not universal that all dd players are better then h2h and vice versa but overall dd is a more competitive experience despite the game play flaws.

    Good debate regardless.
