If ever there was a poster boy for the roids era, it was "Boomer" Wells.

I always loved the fact that he looked like a drunk fan walked on the field and started pitching.

You can always use your Roided up Yankees players from the 90's and 2000's to hold you over. Even though a lot of them arent in the game.

This always cracks me up whenever I see this. Lets take a look at the main players of the dynasty

    Derek Jeter- no roids
    Bernie Williams- no roids
    Jorge Posada- no roids
    Chuck Knoblauch- no roids
    Paul Oneill- no roids
    Tino Martinez- no roids
    Scott Brosius- no roids
    David Cone- no roids
Andy Pettitte- no roids (at the time)
    Mariano Rivera- no roids
    David Wells- no roids
    Orlando Hernandez- no roids

Besides Clemens (who was an astro as well), who was juicing hard core?

Clemens, Cabrera, Cervelli, Montero, Sheffield, Knoblauch (named in Mitchel report just like the others), Giambi, Pettitte, Canseco, Justice, A Roid, to name a few. That is why. FYI, Pettitte "admitting" to using PED was in 2002 for an elbow, was a Yankee.

The worst thing about this cheating scandal is that the jokes have been played out for a longgggg time, and I know there is no end in sight.

I think you missed a few key words. “Dynasty” and “main players”. Of the players you listed, only Knoblauch and Pettitte really apply. Canseco and Justice were role players in 2000, and the rest came after their loss in 2001 to the Diamondbacks when their dynasty ended and Big George kept scooping up hired guns while the team choked each year the post season.

Yeah I wasnt give those stipulations. I said guys from the 90's and 2000's. I was just naming guys that were named that were from that team. Not much else is going on now. People can come back and say that guy didnt hit .300 or that pitcher didnt win 20 games, so what. Apparently that dont mater. Astros won more games in 18 then 17 and more in 19 than 18. So just because they didnt win WS it dont matter? Psshh

You weren’t given those stipulations? You may have mentioned 90’s and 2000’s in your first post, but you literally quoted the stipulations of the reply in your response.

“ This always cracks me up whenever I see this. Lets take a look at the main players of the dynasty”

I think the point is that there were roided up players on pretty much every team at some point in time. As far as tainted championships go though, the Astros and Red Sox are in much worse shape.

So I’m dumb because I acknowledged that most teams had players using steroids at one point or another. Do you honestly believe differently?

Perhaps you’re just lashing out since I implied that while some players from the Yankees were caught juicing, the primary contributors to the Yankees World Series runs in the 90’s listed above were clean, whereas the primary contributors to the Astros World Series are dirtier than your underwear.

If you want to start hurling insults instead of having a rational conversation, then go for it. I’m never the one to start [censored] on here, but I have no problem firing right back.

    http://www.giantpeople.com/980.html

Of that list, only Pettitte and A-Rod were Yankees who admitted to using it, and A-Rod said he started in Texas. People so conveniently forget that it was the "Steroid Era," the A's under LaRussa were infamous for being a steroid factory, the Rangers had Pudge, Canseco, Caminiti, Kevin Brown, Ruben Sierra, Juan Gonzalez, Rafael Palmiero on steroids, and Lou Merloni outed the Sox for coaching players how to take roads.

When you look into the Sox' bias in the Mitchell Report, it makes perfect sense that all of those things got curiously overlooked, in favor of naming sometime Yankees...

Yankees sucked in the 2000s when all of this trash happened. Im talking about the 90s core nucleus of players that won 4/5

You have no idea how busy the Applebee's near the ballpark gets after a championship game. Without the buzzer, how would he know when his table was ready?

Sigh... Guess I better get used to this type of filth.
Can't say anything except that I stand by my Stros (and eff Mike Fiers ((#YearOfTheRat)) first, and then the Yanks. Sorry, couldn't help myself...).
    New Astros 2020 Hashtag: #Redemption.
    Go Stros.

^This comment belongs in whatever the thing is the Astros smash with a bat to cheat their opponents out of a fair game.

Add to the filth, right? I get it. Keep the filth quotes coming. Might as well get it all out now. Go Stros.

Where is one supposed to put "the filth?"

I feel like the Astros would have the bang on answer...

Might have to go to the replay room to determine what the center field Camera saw.

Otherwise, I suggest we just put a lid on it.
