Without abusing the screwball is he serviceable? Can’t remember using him a ton besides BR early on I guess. Kinda has a similar mix and quick windup like Hamels and think he can be effective. I don’t need him for late innings just looking for depth and maybe an upgrade over Hader or Doolittle (As collection) or is Nenn/Gagne the way to go?

SDS

He's terrible imo. Lit him up every time I faced him and got lit up the one time I drafted him in BR.

SDS

With velo and power being the Meta, he's very serviceable as an inning finisher or a change of pace against the directional hitter with great timing.

Having different looks across the 7 RP is the key to 1 IP at a time success.

SDS

I've bought and sold him 3 different times with not much success. I pitched well with him right after that Alvarado card came out and pitched him after Alvarado and he did ok but otherwise I've gotten lit up with him

One of my best relievers actually. You actually want to avoid the screwball pretty much, as people sit on it easily. He has a nice fluid motion and is super easy to control, and I’ve found that the fastball/sinker/slider combo works best.
