I've just got to vent...

I've played 2 conquest games in the past couple hours. The first was a stronghold game against the Tigers on ROOKIE that went TEN innings with FIFTEEN well struck balls that were outs. The second was a steal fans game against the padres on HoF in which they didn't have a hit until the bottom of the third and here's how it went. SS Kenley jansen pitching. Strikes out the first guy. Second batter walks on 4 BORDERLINE pitches. Next batter hits the ball straight back to the pitcher, I hit the green on the throwing meter to throw to second base for an easy double play to win the game. Jansen stands there for 3 secs, and throws the ball to second after the batter is already standing on second, has had a drink of water, tied both his shoes, and taken a quick nap. Next batter doubles into the gap scoring 2 runs and winning the game.
I mean come on. I REAAAALLLYY don't want to say the game is scripted but when stuff like this happens, it's hard to deny it.
Every time I play a game like this, the chances of my buying 20 go down. I'm just not going to pay money for this type of experience year after year.
Sorry, like I said, I just needed to vent.

Get better at the game. You played on Rookie...even if you had 15 balls squared up for outs...if you are good one would leave the park. Game isn't scripted.

Get better at what exactly? Squaring up the ball with good/good timing? Should I try hitting HIGHER than 110 exit velos? Please be specific. Should I try hitting balls THROUGH the defenders gloves? Is there a magic result higher than good/squared up that I'm missing?
I did hit 2 homers in the top of the 10th inning. So I am good enough to hit home runs against rookie apparently... Oh and those 2 homers had the same contact input and exit velos as multiple balls that were outs. So what exactly should I be better at? Like I said, please be specific.

Start playing on big boy difficulties. Playing on rookie or veteran is like Russian Roulette -- it'll get you some premium chicas 5/6 of the time. Then you look like a complete moron the other time.

The game has some big flaws, but flaws don't = scripting.
At least with online play someone could come up with a reasonable reason on why "scripting" would exist.
I really don't think SDS would care if people beat a CPU on rookie in conquest.

Guy it was rookie lol c’mon now

I’m not saying the rookie one was scripted. I’m not even saying the game IS scripted. I’m venting about 2 separate things. 1. You should not have to play 10 innings on rookie to win a 3 inning conquest game this late in the year with a stacked roster when you’re hitting ropes all game. That’s a vent about the main way the game is broken this year. 2. I really don’t want to say it was scripted, but what is one to think when stuff like that happens? Like legit a player WAITS to throw the ball after input is made, and then the 2 winning runs are scored immediately after, It’s a natural thought ones mind goes to. I had time for 2 conquest games to play today, and this is how I spent them. This is not enjoyable.
How, after so many years of making this game can SDS not get it right?
It’s seriously frustrating. -

Every so often there's that one game on Veteran where the pitcher dots every corner, the fielders dive and catch everything and they hit a bloop and a bomb out of nowhere. It's like they are suddenly playing for their next contract, in that one game.
I prefer conquest on higher difficulties because that one "miracle" game doesn't seem to happen.

If you’re playing a three inning game against the computer and you haven’t won by like the fifth inning. Just dashboard the game and try it again. Call it scripting or not, but extra inning games are infuriating.

Get better at hitting to be specific. You were on Rookie, if you couldn't score more than you gave up in a three inning game.......go do some custom practice, it helps a lot.
