If anything the new timing meter shows just how wide a range "good" is. It's way too big so it gives people a sense of hitting the ball better than they are.
The PCI score doesn't account for timing does it?

What does it matter if you have good timing and PCI placement? The game will randomly award home runs on E 11 feedback while P P or G 15 is a can of corn or line out. The game is terrible.

Go to hitting feedback, the second one from the bottom you can scroll through until you find PCI rating, which rates from 1-15, N is perfect.

Reward good pci input and make strikeouts happen. I can be half a zone away with my pci and foul a ball off, or perfect pitches on the black being called balls. The scores would be more realistic or at least fair if those things happened.

They honestly should just get rid of the zone attribute altogether. If you miss the pci on the ball, it should be a swing and miss. PCI is already big enough.
