Nah, the stage 3 cards are primarily for offline collectors. Anyone who is still playing at this point, and has the resources (time or money) to get to stage 3, already has multiple better options at every position.

The HR derby cards just released, many which are sitting at near-quicksale prices, are arguably better for this meta than any stage 3 cards.

I like Brett.. Hitting high 400s with 50 abs... Schmidt and killebrew are good as well.. Depends if you hit better with ryne or Jackie..

Just in general, Gwynn and Eric Davis are fun to use.

Are there any specific FOTF cards I should focus on that you guys think are an upgrade over what i have now? Here's my current lineup:

    C Biggio
    1B Ortiz
    2B Robinson
    3B Sandberg
    SS Larkin
    RF Sheffield
    CF Mantle
    LF Walker

All depends on how well you do with your cards. I'm not great with Sheff and his defense is bad. Lots of outfielders could replace him (Dawson, Kaline, Gwynn, Davis). I would also say Schmidt is a clear upgrade over Sandberg at 3rd.

All depends how you hit/play with certain cards but they're are definitely some good FOTF cards out there. I've got Gwynn in RF for me and I play Sheff at 3B. I also just got Thome to play 1B and added Killebrew to my bench. I'll probably mix it up with him and Thome at first. I haven't really had a chance to use him yet but Killebrew's offensive attributes look really good.

Schmidt even with no mustache. Bagwell. His small strike zone makes it hard to pitch to

If I were you, I’d pick up Brett to replace Sandberg or Jackie, and Eric Davis to replace Sheffield. You really need lefties in your lineup, so you could also use Brett and Gwynn. If you don’t care about righty/lefty, I’d use Killebrew instead of Brett.

Probably pitchers since you don’t have any listed in OP.

You can put together an awesome all 80's team with these TA3 cards. That's what I plan on doing
