Think that's bad. the moment for Mathewson is from the 1905 WS. Giants vs Phillies? phils first WS was 1915, but that's secondary to the fact both are NL teams.
It is actually correct!
The Giants won the 1905 World Series over Connie Mack's Philadelphia Athletics, with Christy Mathewson nearly winning the series single-handedly with a still-standing record three complete-game shutouts and 27 consecutive scoreless innings in that one World Series. -
I like that the White Sox have the exact same moment twice.
-
Biggest mistake in the TA moments is Mr October for Reggie Jackson all the Yankees and Reggie wearing San Diego Padres uniforms.
-
It was from the right side because he was a full time right hitter at that point. And it was hit off a right handed pitcher. So I’m guessing they just didn’t know how to code a switch hitter hitting R v R, not it being incorrect

The Red Sox were in Padres uniforms when I played that one as well.

The Giants a NL team played the Philadelphia Phillies also a NL team.
I wasnt sure who played that WS, but the one guy said it, it should have been the Philadelphia Athletics ,which was an AL team
They got the city right, just not the right team. -
Yes they played the Philadelphia Athletics, at that time an AL Team.

This is the ultimate baseball discussion. I love how these comments come across as if the people making the corrections were actually at those World Series games. This is great.
Note: not being sarcastic. I can see how it might be read that way. I really do like it.
-
I’d say the developers got it about as right as they could considering there’s a viable discussion.

You could be living in 1905, be thankful you’re not.
