Catcher not throwing?

My catcher will not throw lately when someone is trying to steal a base. I've tried 3 different catchers and no luck.

Mine does the same thing. And some people know about it and exploit it.

cardinals 588 that's right. My catcher don't have the reaction to throw when the runner steals.

Im running into the same problem a lot lately, I have to double tap the base I want to throw to and by then its too late. I think its a game issue more than a catcher issue. I have been using Ivan Rodriguez who is a pretty solid catcher defensively but im still having these problems.

I think I saw someone say you have to load into a regular game outside of DD and then mess with your settings, but I'm not sure what setting that is exactly.

Not sure it has anything to do with the last patch but since then it's been happening, but they "apparently" didn't touch gameplay, more likely it's when they fix one thing multiple other things usually brake

Yep did not have any issues before the last patch and now having issues.

I had that happen yesterday and a guy with 60 speed and by the time the catcher threw it they had an easy stolen base and it was with Diamond sanchez who has a great arm.

I have been able to throw out a couple of players since the patch but not as many has before. A lot of the time it is get the pitch out right

Happens to me Everytime lately unless I pitch out. It's definitely something broken in gameplay because it wasn't an issue until recently. It really stinks as throwing people out wasn't hard enough, now it's near impossible. Another thing I noticed recently is my pitcher don't pick up the ball on bunts and it's infuriating because I can pitch well and not great at hitting, but I keep losing games to people who get 5-6 bunting base hits in a game. Lost a game 2-1 last night to a guy who only had 2 normal hits and 7 bunt hits... Even playing the bunt don't always work.

If they bunt a lot, I just bring my 2B in

Happens to me every single time with any catcher now. It's [censored].

Been happening to me as well. Actually all throws have been weird lately. Sometimes I’ll throw to the base while the defender is on the base and the fielder won’t throw till a couple seconds later (which at this time the runner is already safe). Or I’ll get a ground ball to the first baseman and he will just stand there even though I’m pressing the first base button. I’ve only been playing events so I don’t care too much about results but if this was to happen in RS I’d be pretty upset.
