Struggling R/R on HOF
-
I'm struggling so bad on R/R matchups on HoF. I can't touch inside pitches and roll over on alot of chased pitches. I am so jumpy that even the middle ones I am making poor contact.
I use SZ view. I usually set my PCI middle with a slight nudge up.
Any tips? I dont struggle as much L/L. Opposite matchups are obviously ideal.
I'm hovering at 800-850 and feel like this is a main reason why I can't get to WS.
Any tips? Videos? View suggestions?
Appreciate it!

I would suggest to go into custom practice before you're going to play RS and turn the pitch speeds sliders all the way up and set the difficulty to legend. Make sure you face a pitcher who throws gas, like Nolan Ryan or Noah Syndergard or whoever really as long as they throw in that 98-102 range.
You'll probably have a tough time to put the bat on the ball, because the pitches will come in really fast. But the idea behind doing this is not to make great contact (if you do, that's a bonus) but to manipulate your mind and get used to seeing those extremely fast pitches coming in. Then once you load up a Ranked Seasons game, you'll be able to see the ball better and react quicker because of all those fast pitches you saw in custom practice.

Hit the nail on the head. I do this everyday before I hop on RS and it makes a big difference!
