Keep El Duque?

SDS

As a lifelong Yankees fan, I bought El Duque the other day when his value was down to 6k. Mainly I wanted to see that windup again...lol. Seems alright but nothing really special considering his attributes. What does everyone else think?

I'm keeping 1 of each for eventual collections and you got him at the lowest price for at least the next month (since I think 1 card TA exchanges are going to be popular)

I was happy he pitched for my Mets for a minute.
If he's that cheap now, then i'll get his card later.

His sinker mixed with his change up has been a good bottom of the zone pitch to contact pitch for me. Just occasionally that sinker stays up and then it gets smacked. The biggest problem I have with the card is I feel he doesn’t have swing and miss stuff. In ranked season I would not recommend using him

Every now and then sneak in a high curveball at the top of the zone. Your opponent won’t know what hit them. Don’t do it more than once in a game tho or you’ll regret it lol

Considering the break it has, I'll try that.

Exactly. Opponents think you screwed up on your input and just sailed a pitch and next thing they know it’s dropping in at the top of the zone outta nowhere. Great to get a strikeout in a pinch, but like I said, don’t do it more than once or twice because if they line it up, it’s a no doubter
