Point of Stubbs after completing Live series?

Can’t bring myself to spend any on hitters. The grind gives you most of the best hitters. I buy all the relievers and some starting pitchers.
Never played past June before. Do they release stuff later that is worth spending on?
I spent 159k on Chapman and have it all back and then some

That's a hard question to answer as it will always be subjective if someone thinks the content is worth spending on.
The HRD packs could be interesting so that could be a cool collection to spend on
Their is reason the believe there will be a major reward card for the legends and flashback collections.
The TA stage 4 could have some major cards and it's worth it to just spend stubs and complete the exchanges to get it done fast.
If you are like me you pick up some of the WS rewards because I cant make WS but there are some cards I really want to use.
Maybe just ripping packs because fun for you
So again all up to what you feel is worth it

The late season WS and BR rewards are usually pretty great cards. Signature Babe Ruth, Jimmie Foxx, Chris Sale and Chipper are some off the top of my head from last year. I certainly can’t get them through my own skills so I flip all year to have stubs for those.

1st year player who plays very little h2h (more so events lately when all the 1p stuff is done).
I finished it over a month ago, nms, and thought the same thing. I'm now focusing on TA and I'm definitely going for all 3 of these 5th inning bosses. And yes Mantle, Biggio and Sheffield (when he's not flying out) are great cards, but nothing hits bombs like 99 Thames and I'm getting excited for Jose Ramirez in 10 more prestige levels.
I guess it's a wordy way to say that there is lots more good stuff coming

This program should open the floodgates of 99 studs. I’m kinda in the same boat - mantle completed and sitting on 300k, and my goal is to be patient or invest...the big guns are coming.

I do 0 risk investing... I have around 20 88 Braves legends cuz I think they jump on Monday when ta3 drops. Last inning I bought a bunch of the 150 star reward diamonds at 5k and they are already a profitable flip too. I plan on doing the same this inning as well

I have done the same. I have 150k in cards that I might make profit on. If not, I quicksell and am right back where I started.
