So far TA3 seems decent.
It is great to have cards of players I grew up watching in the game. It will give us lots of choices.
Can't wait to try Dwight Evans (very underrated player) and the Jays FOTF Ernie Witt.I will be completing Bos Ta This weekend for sure. I want the Evans card. I was a kid when BOS blew the 86 WS against the Mets.
Yes I now want to complete Boston, Cleveland (Manny?) and Minnesota over the weekend.

Just to make it clear. There are three new Legends in Team Affinity Stage 3.
Their rating will be revealed in the stream with the player and attributes revealed on Tuesday prior to the release.
So we are to ignore the 97 rated on the Jays reveal? Am I understanding correctly?

I'm digging the approach so far. All legends, no flashbacks. All pretty good cards. I wouldn't say there's any I have to have, but it looks like a lot of fun cards to use. Not sure how there is complaining about this (other than the slow reveal). I think it's pretty cool, but I'm more of a legend guy than future stars.
The way they are revealing is kind of lame. 10 minutes per card? At least with Twitch you could leave it on in the background and get the drops and go back every 10 minutes to see who it is. Not sure if I'll even jump on the instagram live one.
But I like the cards, and I like that they are giving us ways to kind of catch up for the teams we're behind on. I've only got 6 teams to 100 percent through stage 2, only another 2 through stage 1.
3 new legends are cool. For the Jays, I'm hoping for Halladay and Thome for the Indians. I wonder if they'd release names that big just for the stage 3. Seems like they'd save the big card of a big name for something like a boss or WS reward. But Halladay and Thome would be cool. Delgado would be sweet for the Jays. Not sure if Jimmy Key or someone else even rates a 97. Who knows. For Indians it could be Thome or Manny. Honestly, not sure who else it could be.
I'll throw some guesses out there.
Angels- Vlad
A's- Lefty Grove
Mariners- Buhner
Rangers- Nolan Ryan
Astros- BagwellBraves- Chipper (My guess is they use all the new legends as bosses at some point)
Marlins- I'll go out on a limb and say new legend, Dontrelle Willis. Pickings are slim.
Nationals- Andre Dawson
Mets- Seaver
Phillies- SchmidtCubs-Wood if the reveal is correct. If not, I say Billy Williams
Reds- Eric Davis is the reveal is correct. If not, I say Joe Morgan
Brewers- Yount
Pirates- Kiner
Cardinals- GibsonDiamondbacks- Luis Gonzalez but this could be a sneak spot for the new legend. Randy Johnson? That would be crazy. Not sure if SDS would do it.
Rockies- Helton (He's already gotten his boss card, so this could be his best version).
Dodgers- Orel
Padres- Not much to choose from, really. Could do Gwynn or Hoffman since their other two are rather pricy.
Giants- Mays -

It's going to be reveled on Tuesday along with the Indians (99) and a mystery team.

Rockies - Bichette
Padress - HoffmanNot Stanton if they are following the route of only legends. That's what makes Rays, Marlins, Diamondbacks and Rockies so tough. Not much history to choose from. Another reason why I'm guessing the new legend comes from one of those 3 teams.
-
Here is all my remaining guesses for what its worth
Angels: Ryan or Vlad
Mariners: Edgar. Buhner won’t be rated that high
Rangers: Michael Young
A’s Lefty Grove
Astros: BagwellMets: Al Leiter. I don’t see them putting seaver or Piazza here
Marlins: I agree probably a new legend. Especially since cliff floyd just got released
Nats: Dennis Martinez- this is a 100% lock IMO. He is the only pre-release legend announcement to not have a card yet
Phillies: Robin Roberts
Braves: Andrew JonesCubs: Kerry Wood(leaked)
Reds: Eric Davis(leaked)
Cardinals: Edmonds
Brewers: Yount
Pirates: KinerDodgers: Hershiser
Padres: Hoffman
Diamondbacks: Gonzalez
Giants: Cepeda(another lock IMO)
Rockies- Helton. They only have 3 Rolies legends and I don’t see bichette being rated this high -
Actually, I don't think there's a chance in hell it's Robin Roberts. The Phillies so far have been given 5 (five) Diamond Starting pitchers
86 Breakout Robin Roberts
88 FoTF Aaron Nola (Stage 1 TA)
90 FS Adonis Medina (Stage 2 TA)
96 FS Spencer Howard
96 SS Cole HamelsThe more I think about it, the less likely It could be Robin Roberts. Not only would that give the Phillies SIX Diamond Starting Pitchers, that would give them THREE Team Affinity Pitchers. Richie Ashburn feels too obvious, and was last year's Team Affinity Reward, so I have to assume It's actually Jimmy Rollins
-
I thought about Rollins for the Phillies. I'm guessing its him or Schmidt. I went with Schmidt because he was an inning boss last year and so they, guessing here, won't use his best card that way again.
We've got 97-99 range here, so it really opens it up to anyone, even the biggest of names.

My guess for Blue Jays reveal is John Olerud. He is new this year and in the stream back in February they showed him as a Blue Jay. They didn’t say hidden legend they just said new legend.
Nope. Dwight Evans was a new, even hidden legend when he was revealed as a BR reward. When they say new legend they mean a legend they haven’t revealed yet.
I agree with most of that but the difference here is John Olerud has never had a Blue Jays card released. This TA Dwight Evans is the second Red Sox version of him this year so it’s not new anymore. A John Olerud Blue Jay would technology classify as a new legend
-
So far, I'm most excited for Mattingly and Killebrew (unless it's Halladay and/or Thome). Just personal favorites. Of course I'd be pysched for a high diamond Helton.
Again, I think these are good. Not always the top of the top choices but they can be (Kaline, Brett and Killebrew for their respective teams). I don't see any I just have to have, but some look like fun as I slowly unlock them. That's the way I like it. Nothing I feel I have to grind for, but fun stuff to unlock eventually.

Padress - HoffmanI believe TA 4 will be finest cards, so Stanton will be an option there, but not for the fish.
These are all time FOF cards, and none of them are currently in the league (so far)

Chances its Halladay are very low. There is no chance he would only be a 97. Delgado or Steib make the most sense to me

Wasn't Stieb in the game in 18?

Yeah he was. But not last year so if he returned he would technically be “new”

I've been doing 9 inning games on rookie at Polo Grounds. It's mindless but it takes care of innings (5 points) any stat missions (5 points) and gets you XP. Just completed the Marlins the other day by doing this.
