Walker looks nice... his splits against Mantle and Sheffield are pretty close...
arguably better card than Sheffield
I hate this! I was about half the way towards prestiging Sheffield lol. Now, start the process over again once I get Walker.
-
I called it on these forums.
I win.

You could stil play Sheffield at 3rd I believe. Prestige both?

Unless they drop David Justice I don't see Walker leaving RF for me.
-
@Ikasnu ya the one and only hall of famer who played in Colorado in a time where routine fly balls were homers. When I saw oracle was hoping it was Jeff Kent, would of been so much better and more usefully than walker
-
I love my outfield now. Trout, Kemp, Walker. I mean who do I move out of that when I eventually get Mantle lol?

How exactly would Kent be more useful? Walker is a 5 tool player. What other 5 tool players are in the game right now?

Your not serious with this question right? Haha let’s see an mvp power hitting second baseman, whose arguably one of the best hitting second baseman of all time, or an outfielder that’s gonna get lost in the mix by the end of the year. There’s still 4 or 5 more programs to go, and there’s already 2 better outfielders to come I can think of off the top of my head in Mays and Griffey. Who do you think would be more of an end game player Kent or walker? Ya “walker is more useful than Kent” haha get out of here and look beyond your purple shaded glasses

Ah yeah. Either means Juan Pierre or Blackmon goes to the bench. Can’t decide which one. Blackmon is so good at the plate but needs a defensive sub. Might leave Pierre in CF, move CarGo to LF and stick Walker in RF.
How is Pierre? I've always loved his swing and speed but I just got the 99 Ricky card. I know Lofton is out there too for cheaper than Pierre, but [censored] its tempting lol.

Why Kent? We have plenty of players already who can play the 2B position that are far better. Walker is legitimately an end game card.

Called Walker in a discord before it was revealed. Nolan started the video, all the proof I needed! [censored] yes!
I’m so happy right now. Walker and Helton added this year, just perfect.

Nice.
Want a free Trouty lvl 100 card? Lol. -
@Ikasnu kent leads all second baseman with career homeruns, he wasn’t a great fielder but he would be the best hitting second baseman in the game, Biggio and sandberg level with more pop and less defense. Walker is already lost in the mix with the outfielders that are already in the game. Mantle and springer are already better just to start, he’s very similar to Sheffield, belli is glitchy and a beast, then add 99 Griffey and 99 mays to the mix plus whatever other outfielders still to come in the next 4 - 5 programs. Your trippin if you legit think walker has any potential of being an end game outfielder. If it was Kent he would at least be in the conversation of potential end game 2b. I can almost guarantee by when the next program comes out walkers gonna be lost in the mix
-
Papi!!! Called it! Walker looks the best tho...

Springer is better than Walker? I wouldn't say Mantle is obviously better either, they are very close attribute wise, Mantle's got him being a switch hitter and depends on Walkers swing

Not to mention Springer and Mantle are grinds. Walker is free

Until the real Hornsby comes out. Hornsby's numbers are unreal. He had an OPS over 1.000 8 times. His career slugging % is .577 to .500 for Kent. Hornsby hit 39 or more HRs 3 times, while Kent's highest was 37. Career average of .358 with a high season of .424! WAR of 127 to 55.
I'm for Kent being included, I thought he was terrific offensively, but hes not Rogers Hornsby, the greatest offensive 2B of all time.

Putting words in my mouth but ok. Walker has diamond fielding (base) with 81 speed and 99 arm strength (prestiged) with end game hitting as well. Tell me how that isn’t useful even for a god squad? Can be said either way. Who’s going to play Kent over diamond fielding/good speed Sandberg who everyone pretty much already has?
