Can you quit after an at bat in conquest and the stats count?

Wondering for the Jackie mission because I can probably hit 7 doubles and 3 triples before I do 42 innings

As someone that just completed these...no you can't

I completed the XBHs before I was done with the innings. Coors, lefty pitcher, power swing late to the right center gap.

Yes, It records stats. So say you get a triple with Jessie. Wait until the next batter is up and then quit. It does count.
