I don't believe I"m wrong that the value of old event cards will continue to go down. TA 3 comes out in a week, and three free 99's drop Friday.
Your entire premise is that those cards go up in value after the event is over. That simply isn't the case.
Maybe in future events that will be true, but I don't like to talk about things that haven't happened yet in order to justify your weak argument.

No, you're wrong in that you think the event rewards for this event are worth it because you made "300k" on rewards this event.

And yes, every year event reward cards have gone up in value after their event is over especially when there is a catch all Honus Wagner type collection, like there will be again this year.

I also wonder with very few cards that you can get in packs worth over 100k how you managed to get 300k? If you think that amount of volume diamonds you "pulled" is what every person is going to get in their packs I don't really know what to tell you...

You are totally wrong about previous event cards going down. There won't be anymore, and with people exchanging some of them, and other people leaving the game who have them, and with a good number being locked-in in the future, these cards will do nothing but go up as they become more and more scarce.

Ok, Fred McGriff. Peaked at 40K, now selling for 17-22K. He's only dropped since the 28th of May. The first big crash as 6/6, then he held steady until the next market crash on 6/20. There are currently 12 All-Star cards cheaper than him, and we are almost to the "all-star" break, which means SDS will be dropping All-Star content.
I'm sorry if you invested in him, better luck on your next guess.

I don't believe I"m wrong that the value of old event cards will continue to go down. TA 3 comes out in a week, and three free 99's drop Friday.
Your entire premise is that those cards go up in value after the event is over. That simply isn't the case.
Maybe in future events that will be true, but I don't like to talk about things that haven't happened yet in order to justify your weak argument.
You are totally wrong about previous event cards going down. There won't be anymore, and with people exchanging some of them, and other people leaving the game who have them, and with a good number being locked-in in the future, these cards will do nothing but go up as they become more and more scarce.
Even rookie felix has gone up 4-5 from being quick sale value at first, isn't the silver rookie Machado like 6k?
