Aroldis Chapman 97 review

I’ve always hit him very well. Looking forward to facing this version.

Considering fastballs and sinkers are super effective this year in HOF or above, he’s not just “end game”, he may be the best reliever we see all year.
I have him. Don’t want to face him.

I like that this version is a little skinnier than his current LS.
It’s the little things. Young Aroldis, when he was still hungry.

I got crazy lucky and got two rare tiers. Used him for one inning. His control sucks, but he's sooo nasty. I sold him and piked up Kemp, Greinke, McCutch, and Boggs. I'll consider getting him back when his price drops.

It's like his other card but, he limits power better now. With smart and patient pitching the card can be nearly unhittable. Nearly. He throws so hard though that players seem to hit a quick reaction home run in a few of his appearances. I don't like that. Pull shot bomb on a 102mph mid and inside fastball? How though? Hah, but that can happen with the hard throwers, 97 Chapman included.

That was a one person conversation folks

His 2 seam, sinker, and slider are sped up compared to LS. The change up is nasty! Hitting 102 4 seam, 99 sinker, 91 slider, 85 change up, and 98 2 seam. I somehow got lucky enough to get the rare round and took him, briefly had him up on the market (I'm not done LS collections) then took him off. He's too good and end game to sell. Yes, I'm aware I could sell him now and try to buy back later, but I'd rather not hassle with that.

Huh
What are you having difficulty with?

I just used him for the first time. He was fine but nothing great (1 hit, 2 strikeouts, 1 ground out)...BUT - after the game I saw it was on All-Star and that’s not where he’ll show his worth. Will write a HOF difficulty review shortly.
