Horrible move.

I know there’s tons of stuff posted about this already but it deserves another. First 99 released (besides the day 1 99s) is a future stars card?

Come on. Everyone was hyped for the first 99s to drop. This was their chance to bring fire and excitement into the game and they completely flopped.

I know content is weird this year due to everything going on, but they should’ve known by now that if they are going to release more future stars they should be October/November content... not mid June. Especially when there’s already a 90 overall card of the same player.

Last year was so solid with content and this year it’s like they have no idea what the community likes.

Except, there will be three 99 bosses dropped on the same day, and a fathers day program dropped tomorrow.

How do you know tomorrow won't have a 99?

Hold your complaints until the content actually arrives.

Buckle up for a whole lot more of these. If #6-ranked Adell gets a 99, then it stands to reason we'll also get 99s for #1-5 (Franco, Lux, Robert, Rutschman, and Gore.)

Unfortunately, this is probably true. FS cards were fun, but they've run their course and I was excited for the 99's because I'm ready for the legends, now I'm not so excited anymore.

I would have NO PROBLEM with the FS releases if they didn't ALREADY HAVE A DIAMOND CARD!!! I simply cannot understand how they decided to give these guys multiple cards. Give them each a Prospects OR Future Stars card, not both...go ahead and pump the [censored] out of the attributes if they want, I dont even care about that part, but to release two diamond versions of these guys doesn't make any sense at all to me.

I have two reasons I think for it: they believe they are changing things up and lack of season

Probably an unpopular opinion but I like the future stars. Personally I just like trying out different skill sets and swings/deliveries, dont really care who the card is

I don't know if I'm right, but i would guess this has something to do with there deal with the milb now. I don't really know, just throwing it out there

They always had the rights. This is just the first year they put the time into it

It’s just like come on man. Future Stars are a great little promo but this is becoming a Future Stars game altogether. And a 99? This is turning into madden where everyone gets a 99.

I would be totally fine with the FS cards if there were more legends along with them.

They better be STACKING those TA3s with 97-98s, maybe even a few 99s, as long as they aren't prospects/FS. And the rest of July should be popping with content too so it's fine. They kinda had to improvise with no season. Should be a good summer though!

The legends and current stars are coming soon, and once this is over I'm sure we won't have to worry about these young guys much the rest of the year... Calm down.

I should count. What is the ratio for Prospects and Future Stars compared to all of the other cards in the game (besides live series)?

I’ve been having an absolute blast using Conquest to audition the FS and craft the perfect lineup!

I don't know either but I just think it's they're way of just making useable cards and content go throughout the year.

My thoughts are we'll get a small wave of some 99s along with this Adell card and it's pretty much done. Maybe, if they have a season and a couple of them do really well, those specific guys get some sort of card? But the legends are coming in hot this summer man, I gotta feeling.

Everyone does have to remember that without a MLB season SDS has had to get a little creative think of all the TOPPS Now etc. cards we are missing without a season going on end game nobody will be using the future stars be patient
