My rose bush was blooming great as always and we went on vac a few weeks ago and now all of a sudden all the leaves are falling off like it’s dying any ideas why??

Could be goin dormant. had a rose bush do that, lost its flowers and 2/3 of it's leaves in may, same all next year and in March of following year it started blooming again.

Does the leaves have black spots all over them? Black spot is a fungus that will spread and kill off all the leaves in about a week. I live in south Ga and i deal with it alot from the heat and humidity. Dont ever wet the leaves and be sure to pick off and pick up any dead leaves that may have it cuz it will stay on the dead leaves and spread to the news ones when they regenerate.
