Anybody else have a hard time with this one? He pitches to contact and I cant tally enough strike outs before he gets lit up after 5 or 6 innings. I was flying through to Bellinger until this.
Any tips?
I didn’t have any problems with his card. Maybe because I pitch my game and not what the catcher calls.

Wish I could help more. Like others, I did these easily first run.
I wish you luck. Maybe it's just the general sequencing that you are having issues with. I use metered pitching.
Like others? Others have had issues too.
So many fouled off pitches, he just cant strike anybody out.

So do I. Dud ecant blow a fastball by anyone. Every other at bat turns in to a 9+ pitch duel with constant foul tips ending in pop outs. He has no strike out pitch. Which was yours?

So how does anybody complete the moments for him. Based on these complaints nobody should have Bellinger because Chase is impossible to complete. SMH!!! Like I said before I completed his moments first try or shortly after the first try. Most of the challenge is on Veteran difficulty. That means that the AI hitters will chase bad pitches in count leverage situations. Take advantage of that and stop throwing strikes when you have the counts in your favor.

Sinkers in the dirt, inside curveballs not in the strike zone, fastball up and out of the strikezone

Foul tip foul tip ball foul tip foul tip ball foul tip pop out
Thanks. Hopefully I'll just get lucky like you did.

I had way more success just throwing low backdoor cutters. Down and away to lefties, down and in to righties. As long as you kept it tight, the CPU didnt hit it. Fastballs up and in, or in off the plate as well were very effective.
-
Did them on the first try. The hitting ones not so much.
-
Change speeds; pitch in/out instead of up/down. High inside fastballs on two strikes worked for me.
Be patient; you will walk guys, but there's plenty of time. -

I had no issues.
I'd suggest you let the catcher call the pitch type and location. See if that helps.
Catcher doesn't call them on allstar though.
What pitches were you throwing? I can get outs but not K's. And the curveballs eventually get smacked out.
You can change that in the settings to have catcher call pitch’s on all levels
-
I think change ups out of the zone have been his best strike out pitch for me. That and sinkers. Usually set it up with high and in fastballs.
-
Fastballs up and in, that's my go to. If they foul it off, I go there again. If they foul that off, change up low and away. If they foul that off, fastball back up in the zone. It really matters about your counts. If its 0-2, fastball up all day. If you get to 2-2 count, it depends on your last pitch, but just go with the opposite speed of whatever got to that count. If you get to 3-2, fastball up and in.

They are tough but doable. Spam FBs up and in and and then use the changeup down and away from lefties and the cutter and curve up and away and down and away respectively vs righties and pray that contact isn't made.
-
I did all of them this morning first try.
High tight fastballs, change ups and curveballs down below the zone.
This year, Pulse pitching has been by far the most accurate, and he threw dots for me in all of the missions using pulse. You might give that a try too.

Usually pitching moments are very easy but this one is tough the lack of a slider is hard for these strikeouts. Especially when the cpu swings first pitch every at bat regardless of its fastball or off speed
-
Never play any SP pitching moments... lol
not worth the frustration when you threw perfect game and than a guy with 40 power hits a no doubter with 2 strikes... -
