This Game Isn't For You If You Try Bunt Cheesing In A Moonshot Event
-
I’m seeing a lot of angry comments on the forum lately.
I’m sure part of it is frustration with this year’s game, but seriously folks, none of this is worth really getting bent out of shape over.
Things are pretty weird in the world right now, and no doubt everyone is a bit on edge considering all the uncertainty, and violence around us.
This post is just to point out that while some things people do in the game are more egregious than others, ultimately, the spirit we do them in is what counts.
If a guy bunts against the shift, or throws a lefty in the event, maybe it is not the end of the world. We’re all lucky enough to be in a position to be playing video games, so let’s try and play nice!

Since I've stopped taking every game seriously, stopped trying for WS, and just started enjoying the game for what it is I've been able to enjoy it and actually have fun. I've stopped prioritizing RS and play more events than anything.
Typically by June I enter my first Hiatus, don't see myself doing that yet.

Yeah, the game is what it is at this point. My last event game, my opponent, with a 6-2 lead, was throwing circle changes a foot above the zone to try and get a chase. This is the extent people will go to. I guess the high sinker wasn’t good enough...

Bunting in this event just tells me you have no confidence in hitting the ball

Just pathetic how desperate people are. Wins are so easy to come by. Every other batter homers in this event and people feel the need to try bunt cheesing? What a disgrace. Newsflash -- bunt cheesing won't beat me or anyone else who actually knows how to play this game -- especially in this event.
If it wont ever beat you... Sounds like a real non issue. Just your personal dislike for that guy. Lol

He’s just telling it like it is. If your sacred to swing in the moonshot event you should probably just play tapsports baseball and free up some server space, FOH with that we’re all winners for just for being in a position to play video games

Defend the bunt no need to be in a shift if you know how to pitch to a pull hitter to go the other way get that ground out or fly ball to left.

Hitting the ball is not hard but getting hits or even HR you just never know. I only bunt to move runners over, No need to bunt with a guy that has over 90 power. Hit and Run is a better option.
