Has anyone had fun playing moments?
-
Dig moments. Big fan of showdown.
-
Although Honus wasn't bad, Hernandez, Dawson, Vizquel, too many noodle bats. That 1 hit 1 steal took waaay longer than it needed to however bc the dumb AI always blocking the path
-
Not a fan. I have them all done except Pete Alonso and the Stage 2 affinity that I haven’t unlocked yet. But I generally dislike them. The only reason is for the program stars, XP, etc. Really, the program cards haven’t even been worth it. The POTM cards are worth it. Not the Honus, Vizquel, Dawson, etc. ones.
-
Not a fan of Moments at all. Wish they would drop them altogether.

I can handle the noodle bat but that combined with the pitchers refusal to throw in the strike zone is a bit much. Really needs to be one or the other but both is overkill. Need to make you feel like your actually reliving the moments not thinking wow this guy was the worst hitter of all time
I love drawing a walk in a game when you need 4 hits and you are the home team, so you are likely only getting 4 ABs.
Lol it’s so frustrating if I have 3 balls I tell myself I’m swinging regardless walks are a waste

Right? I walked on 6 pitches in the three hit game moment. I swang late at two balls to keep from walking on four pitches, and then the final pitch was so far outside it wasn't worth it. I just don't get why instead of making these fun they make them terrible.

My new favorite is having to get a steal with Wagner. I get the hit. I am on 1st I take off on first pitch, CPU strikes out to end the inning.
-
I enjoy completing the really challenging ones. The extreme moments from last year were some of my favorite things to do in the game.
-
No, Moments are Terrible this year. Can't stand the Player Lock Stuff. I'd rather them be like Scenarios. Like the RTTS Challanges. Ex. down, 1 Runner on third. Score the runner to tie the game. And have multiple opportunities to fulfill challanges. Something like that. At the very least give us the Team Moments back where we could use our DD Teams at least

How is this even possible. If you steal on the first pitch, then the count is 0-0 and the CPU can't strike out to end the inning on a 0-0 count.

In player-lock moments quick counts are on by default. The first pitch the cpu saw was probably in a 2 strike count.

Since when are there quick counts in moments. Never had em. At least, when I did the Wagner one, there were no quick counts.

I totally enjoying grinding Moments now, since I can actually do them now; it took me a few solid months to learn the game. Wait on the pitches, stay disciplined, observe how they pitched your last AB, take walks.

I'm skeptical on this actually. Every player lock moment I have done, regardless of mode, never started with a quick count / action pitch. I know it is available in RTSS to make basepath moments quicker, but in moments, never saw it. Also, given that on a steal requirement, you don't automatically steal on the first pitch, it would be STUPID, beyond stupid actually, to have action pitches.

That's fine you dont believe me, and it is possible if I change my RTTS setting to all pitches instead of action pitches it may fix this, but I also have baserunning opportunities turned off as well and obviously when you need to steal the moment overrides that. But I know for a fact that this happened.

I don't have action pitches enabled and have all baserunning active. Maybe that is what is happening here. And if it is, then it's beyond dumb for that to be the case.
