just choked a showdown so bad it hurts

What I've learned from Showdown, almost never tag up unless you have 80 speed. Always seems that Ichiro is playing all outfield spots.
-
What I would suggest for the central is to take as many pitches as you can. Hader will tire out by 50-60 pitches. At that point you will be getting straight meatballs and now that it’s on Veteran it should be a breeze
-
I made the mistake of running against Aaron Judes arm. Was 15-15 at the time. I didn’t get past 1st over my next 10 outs and hit into 2 PP double plays.

And Ozzie Smith in every infield position

started nl central down 8-15 with 20 outs.. then 15-13 with 13(!) outs & a runner on.. (details too painful to describe) now it's 13-15 with 3(!) outs & I finally tie it at 15 with an out remaining before I [censored] the bed
keep grinding!

I tried to score on a warning-track flyball to Judge... with a slow runner... did not end well.

I'll Raise...First Elimination round in the NL East against Aaron Nola. 15 outs to score 3 Runs. Finished with one Hit. A solo Bomb with Mike Schmidt. Totally Shat the Bed. LOL. Didn't have the greatest lineup, but should've been able to string together 3 stinking runs

BUNTSad thing regarding this...is I have tried it when I got runner on first, tied with like 10 outs left because I didn't want to hit into the predictable DP. The next 3 or 4 guys proceeded to bunt like idiots. Line drives to 3B/2B. Pop ups. Just straight up missing.
Eventually after wasting like 4 or 5 outs I had to start swinging...eventually got the W on that one.

Yeah all showdowns are veteran now

I ran on him when i was tied in the mini boss against the AL West, very bad idea he got me at home then the cpu proceded to get Encarnacion who was for some reason going for 3rd, tripple play. I never recovered.

Try losing to the first boss and 8-12 outs made were perfect perfect contact and the other 4 were squared up contact although I’m not sure what the difference is but apparently there is a difference.
-
Lol. Yeah veteran my [censored]. I practice a lefty vs lefty all star moment that is 100 times easier than Showdown veteran right vs lefty.

I had the same thing happen. Had like 8 outs left, needed only one run. So I tried bunting and three guys in a row popped up bunts so high the 1b or 3b caught them all. I gave up and had to swing away again. It felt so rigged.

Honestly if you’re playing on Veteran you have to power swing. I do agree that it seemed a bit easier on AS. But if you contact swing you leave too much to chance (usually weak fly balls on good/good) it’s annoying
-
I was down 1 with a runner on and 13 outs remaining in the 4th inning showdown yesterday and I choked lmao. I'm an embarrassment to my family.
-
Showdown has been infinitely more frustrating having to try and hit on Veteran. Sucks since that was what I was spending the majority of offline time on.
