Is it still on allstar against the most miserable pitcher from each division?
Some new updates it's that it is now on Veteran
Veteran on the 2nd and final boss? I've been in such a slump against Hader lately even when driving up his pitch count.
Probably just the second boss. With Hader make sure you have the ice in the veins perk and don’t swing at anything before 2 strikes.

At this rate, they should just give out the tickets
-
Did they change the xp and packs like last time as well?

All about keeping us interested through the pandemic... cannot lose peoples interest as I know I have played Showdown maybe 4 times and failed 3 so I avoid it
I know small sample size but I struggle in 2 of the 3 not even past 1st boss
-
Won't matter, I still can't beat stage 2.

Just read on reddit that showdown has been updated
The OP noted they were doing the AL East and the 2nd mini boss is now set to being down 4-0 but you have 20 outs to work with. It use to be down 3-0 and 10 outs
Edit - updates
1st Mini boss is now 2-0 and 15 outs
Mini bosses are now Veteran. I am not online yet to confrim this but will do a showdown run tonight to test out
Hmm. I know there was one mini boss in the al central that was 4 runs and 20 outs. I guess they added a few more ( Walter Johnson was that one) . I thought it was always on veteran with the exception of the last boss.... maybe I ever noticed

I know bumgarner in the nl west was on all-star. I usually just skip him anyway.

It's very possiable and like I mentioned I am only relaying what I know so until I log on I cant confrim any of this to 100%

Ironically, this kind of sucks. It seems counter intuitive but I have a much harder time it seems with Veteran bosses than all-star.
I didn’t really like the AL/NL for this reason as I was having far more success in these earlier ones. First time now trying a new one and got knocked out in the mini boss. I can score 17 runs in 15 outs off Hader or score 7 runs off Cole in like 5 outs (before) but can’t score 4 off Singer on veteran, or 3 off Hendricks.
It’s maddening. -
Thanks for sharing! Hello FOTF!
-
Do they have runners starting on base now in some of the missions?
-
They should make stage 1 free to enter. Thats why i don’t play. Even if they remove the stubs rewards.

Even if you don’t win the Showdown you can still make more stubs than the actual entry fee.

I'm happy for those that were struggling, but I have been grinding my tail off to earn enough to buy my way to stage 2 with exchanges and then grinding AL and NL showdowns for Future Stars. I literally finished stage 1 for my last 3 teams today. I have nearly 500 hours on the game and now they make it easy? Thanks guys!
-
NL West has changed...bumgarner is now veteran, down 4-0 with 20 outs
-
Buehler is also on veteran for the final boss in the NL West
-
Looks like im going to grind some Stage 1 Showdowns to complete some TA's tonight
-
Man, that garbage isn't veteran. There is some serious RNG there. I agree should be free or 250.

Perfect/perfect’s at people or the double play where you hit a rocket to 1st base and he doubles up your guy at 1st? Lol

No matter what we say about showdown there will be dudes that say, "it's so easy...git gud."
