Perfect perfect outs

I have been tracking my perfect perfect hit success rates for the past few days... out of 16 perfect perfect swings, 12 were outs. This is ridiculous

It’s basically upside down. Someone put a decimal in the wrong place or something? That outcome should be flipped
I’m started to think perfect/perfect is exactly the same as good/squared just with a different sound when you hit the ball.

Well looking at your last 8 games online you’re 11 for 11 on perfect contact and the only out made on perfect contact was by one of your opponents.... so I think you’re doing alright

I feel like I get outs on 90% of perfect/perfect hits. I get more hits on good/squared up or early/squared up than perfect... this makes zero sense to me.

I can't remember the last time I had a perfect/perfect grounder go for a hit it's a one hop ground out or a ball that never touched the ground and gets snared by an IF or straight to an OF.

I've long thought that good-squared (and now perfect-perfect) end up in outs more often than not simply because of some type of coding (I could be wrong on this, not a coding guy). Basically my thought is that fielders are stationed where they are for a reason, that its likely the best spot to be in position for hit balls. The good-squared and perfect-perfect hit the balls where you'd expect them to, thus there's a fielder in that spot. I could be wrong, but that's what I came up with when it sometimes seems the best of my swings end up right at fielders (if they aren't homers).

Everyone who has said this on these boards has been exagerating and has been called out through their game history. It is frustrating when you hit a few perfect/perfects in a row for outs but i guarantee you your average is sitting around or above .800 on them.

Agreed. I'm certainly not debating that the outs are less frequent than people like to say on here. There's always a lot of hyperbole. My comment is solely why I think it does happen sometimes and why it feels bad. Because you hit the ball really well and it's right at someone.
